A few things noticed when playing on my mom's computer.

Well I was over at my mom's for christmas and everything and her computer is pretty darn slow... (800 mhz YIKES!) and only has 16/24 bit graphics to top it. I went and had my copy of no$gba along with a few nds games I had on it to show her the emulator and how it works and everything and my jaw dropped when I noticed that everything wound up running 50% lower than my computer and NDS games were practically un-playable because of this. The only saving grace at this point was that it ran most of the GBA games I brought except a few... I think the buggy ones were the Zelda : Link to the Past, and not sure on the second one, but I've noticed now since the NDS emulation has taken over the GBA, that some of the GBA games have slipped graphically speaking. A good example of this at least for me was the Pokemon Emerald and Fire Red where the screen is messed up where it loads up and has the pool of water and leaves surrounding it, which is now a strange glitched up bunch of leaves and something that barely resembles water.

I'm curious as to what happened here with the GBA now since the NDS has taken over and why certain things that were still bugged GBA wise never got fixed officially before proceeding to NDS... Aria of Sorrow still has a random bug that makes it crash after when you get near 80% through the game and try to acquire souls... It crashes upon the soul spawning and/or during the absorbing of the soul. On Zelda : A Link to the Past (At least I'm 50% sure it was this one.), it crashed after the story is told at the beginning and never gets to the actual gameplay...

I'm curious if it's just my bad romdumps somehow and I need to re-dump them or what, but I've seen this occur on the 'other' ones as well so I know it's not necessarily my dumps doing this... Any suggestions or comments on this?

The speed - what did you expect?
GBA - yep, no$gba was never a great GBA emulator and it's getting worse. But who cares - there are many other great GBA emulators, many of which are very great, while there are no other good NDS emulators currently.
(Of course the definitions of good and great and all that is all my opinion, but I believe it represents the general/popular/correct opinion)

I don't have a problem with castlevania dawn of sorrow.. I am facing the final boss right now after I got everything without a problem.
