GBA Union?
Does anyone know is it possible to emulate GBA cartridge insertion with NDS games on no$gba.
Some NDS games can link with GBA games to unlock/transfer certain stuff (like Pal Park in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl). I want to know, does it is possible to do with GBA rom and NDS rom (clean dump)... |

Well, Martin included a Build-In Sunlight Sensor for GBA games and the lid closing for DS Games. Not many games use those features, but it is the only emu so far that has those things. I am pretty sure that he will include it in a future release.

Afaik, DS accessing to the GBA slot (Slot 2) is already documented/known, otherwise the backup systems based on Slot 2 wouldn't be able to work. I mean, they are able to run in DS mode reading from Slot 2, which should, otherwise, only be accesed when GBA mode is active (those two are different). I can't give proper references (at least, as of now) as that would involve a some investigation, but seems logical :P

Yeah, from what research I've done (mainly with GBAtek, heh), the GBA cart is mapped to 0x08000000 in DS mode. (Not sure if the location is the same for GBA mode) Then, in theory, the game should just have to throw a few reads in the direction of the cartridge header to determine what game is in slot 2 and unlock the extra content already on the DS game card. But then, I wonder, how are things such as Pokemon accessed from the flash on the GBA cartridge? Is the flash memory on the GBA cart mapped too?
