Dawn of Sorrow save game question + 1 thing

I've been trying to figure this one out for a few weeks now and have yet to get the game to save yet... I tried it with the audio on and saving it to the 64kb (I think that was the right one...) state and all that comes up is Save Failed... Any ideas what is wrong with this?

Also is it correct that Pokemon Pearl will save correctly now? I thought I heard someone say to use 256kb and save it but it wouldn't load back up after closing and opening...

If anyone is willing to point out what I'm doing wrong without flaming me, I would greatly appeciate it. Thanks

I've been able to save with this game when the Backup cartridge is set to EEPROM 8/64KBytes. Maybe this will work for you as well.

I did check on Pokemon pearl and the save size is this : Flash (2Mbit) so *scratches head* Guess the 512kb somehow covers the higher range saves too?

It's 64kbit but no$cash express the value in Kbytes, so it's 8 Kbytes.
Most of the site out there use the kb so you must convert them to KB (divide by 8 to get Kilobytes and multiply by 8 to get Kilobits).
EDIT: Ah,I tested the game recently, it works very well except the intro audio, at least until the first save room (I've not continued to play coz I've to play at the prequel before).

same here... I got the save to work on Dawn and yet to try Pearls one so... I can't remember which game it was but one of the games I got required the audio to be on in order for the save to work which is odd... *scratches head*
