No$gba build is quick., It works great OF most games.,but still many games / types are not playable yet.,and some game's texture & pattern need to perfection.
Pls support follow in future:
1) filters, ETC...scanlines (need),
2) support save / load state, (urgency, much games is impossible to past)
3) support auto detection "backup media" type (battery),
4) Rotate (H/V) Screen(some games is need too)., Zoom and Full Screen
5) and may move the up-screen to left or right with the down-screen,
so that may have more 1 select to Zoom (choose H or V) Screen by user!
6) Frame (Middle) or without Frame selectable
i think you know what's that mean of above ! THANKS & WISHES.

Also:
Why all of "No$" emulators without below functoins like other EMU(s)
(ETC:- Gens / Mame / VisualBoyAdvance / SFC / FC...)
I Most hope the "No$gba" & "No$GBC" may support that and to perfection in feature:
Zoom and Full Screen choose
Smooth filters (scanlines...etc)

AND ......
HOW TO SAVE THE BIOS PERSONAL SETTING DATA IN No$gba??
Not support auto change save media(battery), User If no select a corret "backup media" then run or change a game, that old *.sav will be Crash or Broke. x_x lost many *.sav data yet!

what's the *.SNA? how use? the file still big in MB of compressed,
Can't load *.SNA, every time error message“The rom-image has crashed”
if no need *.SNA, that feature may be delete.

still have not save and load state funtion, in the menu pls don't show the funtion or that word now, coz too many people unknow that!

###JUST TESTED SOME NEW GAMES, FOUND NEW PROBLEMS,
###Large(Big) Games all are Speed slowly When Playing,
###Mario bro full of noise
###"Final Fantasy IV" + "Survival Kids 3" Fonts are overlaps
###Survival Kids 3 Not Support MIC Emu (Can't make fire) Game is slowly
Need to Crack Again

Garfield's Nightmare
Bomberman
**********************************************
That's good or bad for you and me????
The "NDS" is machine virtual 3D only(Poor cheap 3D same as PS (Playstation 1) .,not true 3D engine. But it's 2D is Great!
IF really have an 3D engine, it's hard to emu,you look the "N64" and other 3D games emulators to make (further) progress is like a turtle! "Model2","N64" and "Dreamcast" already 1x years! "Model 3" no any progress.

The Author will add this functions when he thinks that the emu is ready for it. There are other things to concentrate at the moment. Just be patient. I have seen No$GBA come so far this Year. I would bet that the Emu will be perfect at the end of next year.

i consider save states and auto save media detection to be utmost priority.

If people are paying for it, it's high time that the people have voices to request for features.

I'm not sure ... a lot of threads do go by here unnoticed by Martin himself.

He's linking the Forums to this very page, but through the months I've registered here .. I've never seen him post anything.

Yes, he may be a quiet developer that watches for bugs and development tidbits in this forum, but it's ridiculous for a developer not to interact with the community.

You can be a small developer, or you can be Microsoft .. but both still interact with developers because the people are paying them for the software.

If Martin knows any of these things, he will either:
- Don't charge, but ignore any feature requests. He's doing it for free anyways.
- Charge, and pay attention to what people want. The people are giving him money for software. Isn't that what software companies are supposed to do? Listen to clients???

But he's doing none of them. People will be pissed if this continues. Believe me.

He's not a company. He's releasing a product early for donators, nothing more or less. He doesn't have to check this forum. It's not /his/ forum, he has no obligation to do anything here. If you don't like it, don't buy it, wait for the free version.

In his webpage, he lists this page as his forum:
no$gba - nocash gameboy advance / nintendo ds emulator

His "donation" is actually a purchase, as confirmed by almost everybody in the forum, which clearly pissed a lot of people.

And whether or not he's a company or not. He's a software developer that sells his software.

If he takes money, he should listen to feature requests. Heck, even open source developers get flamed when they don't reply to their community. This isn't even close to not fulfilling feature requests.

Now I'm not comparing open source to Martin, I'm just saying that Martin would need to own up to the money he's taking. And the first step is to fulfill feature requests.

Edit: Or heck, just posting a hello message here so everybody knows that he's at least dedicated at looking at the bugs and feature requests is a good thing.

People can 'confirm' all they want - thousands confirm they have been abducted by aliens, doesn't make them correct. It is not a purchase, it is a donation gift - advance previews of programs as free bonuses to donators are VERY common.

Admin, can we lock this thread please? We don't need any bitter kiddies who think they are entitled to anything but their downloaded software for $2.50, just so they can play their pirated ROMs. Cause lets face it: Even though the rules state otherwise, I would bet an additional $2.50 that everyone whining are using it to play games they aren't legally entitled to play.

Please refrain from posting off-topic things about alien abductions.

Be it donations or purchase. Money exchanged hands. Own up to it.

Stop the insults about bitter kiddies, this will create a flame war.

$2.50 or not, it's still money. Or would you say otherwise?

And I don't want to continue this rant anymore. I'm all for supporting feature requests being fulfilled. That's all.

Its useless to talk in this forum about Legal and illegal. 80% of the Users here sure don`t own rightful copies. But as long as they fake it, its fine. Same with the Emulator. More and more will find their way to it and of course all will say they paid for it and nobody will be whining anymore and everything will be just peachy

@Pikachu01: I understand that the ranting is annoying, but you have to realize that Martin does all of it out of free will. He made us pay almost 3$ for this release. so what? Now you want him to get stressed to fulfill every users wishes? If he could do so, the Emulator would be perfect by now. Because everyone is requesting something different. The only thing we all agree is the Automatic Savetype. And I am sure that Martin has good reasons for not adding it.

So, I can surmise it as:
Whiners: People that either pay, or don't have money to pay and don't want to pirate.
Fakers: People that claim that they paid, but they pirate.
Leakers: People that paid for the program, but leaked it to public media.
Flamers: People with cash to pay and nothing to do than flame other people, claiming to be the moral police.

Which ones are you in this case of No$GBA 2.6?

Oh, and I forgot to mention:
Quiet Guys: People that don't post, but look at the threads. Possibly pissed, possibly pirates.

Edit: Forgot again:
Admins: The only one that should be doing policing, based on rules. Not moral.

i think the autor of the emulator have to support frameskip, but we control the frameskip, like ideas, is better play a game in 80% with frameskip 1 then play the game in 100% with frameskip 5

pikachu01: This is a bugs report thread and not a debate over piracy and who's right to act what way or what your opinions of those people are. Kindly lay off such discussion.

Let's see..

Your donating money to help the maker of the emulator and you just happen to receive an early copy of no$gba 2.6. Technically your not "buying" anything....Think of it as going to a store, spending $50 or more, and getting a free item. Your not buying that free item, cuz well, it's free.

Personally, yes I admit, the maker of the emu should look at requests/ideas... That doesn't mean he HAS to do those requests/ideas. People have the right to ask for things, as soon as it's mandatory to pay for no$gba, in order to get it. As of right now, as I understand, he plans to release No$Gba 2.6 at a later time for free anyway, just, people that donated gets it early. So as soon as everyone has to pay to get no$gba, then you have the right to ask for stuff, until then just be happy your even getting the emulator in the first place, and sit patiently and wait for it to be released, and the next version come out.

For the people saying he is linking to the forums I can't help but wonder if that was in part due to myself and probably others emailing him telling him the link to forums on his site was down and the only real forums that has its own section for NO$GBA was here. So I included this along with a link to these forums and what do you know a month or so later this forum is the one he links too on his homepage.

I'm surprised he has been developing this for soooo long, most GROUPS let along single people develop a program for more than a year or 2 unless it's a full project (such as application/game development). I really appreciate his work and don't really understand how he can still have so much enthusiasm to modify/add to his program as much as he does.
