Lunar Knights freeze error

Ive noticed other people have this problem when I search for it (likely this has also been answered too but I might not have looked hard enough) Anyway, the problem is that after the first boss, you progress to some place called Sheridan's Mansion and when this character 'Pale-Faced Maid' talks the game just stops. The touch screen is faded and you see options like talk etc. but you cannot click them.

I apologize profusely if this has been answered but please link me to that thread or anything.

Im using the latest version of no$gba (2.5c) and the proper save type for lunar knights (eeprom 64k).

Thank you.

Because you have no$gba's sound on. He must have sound turn off that's why.

Some games require for the sound to be on for timing stuff. The turning off the sound option seems to literally turn off sound emulation.
