black screen on new verson?

ok, like 5 months ago i started playin pokemon diamond. that was the time when the game was slow outside and fast inside anythin. i got really far like up to the part after u fight dialga but then i just stopped playin it. Now i find out that there is an a lot better verson(2.5c of no$gba) for this game and that it allows AR too. okay now when i open up the pokemon rom with the new verson, it works fine. i click start and it shows my old file. But, then when i click my file it goes to this black screen that never goes to my game but just stays there. my question is how to stop that black screen. thnx to everyone here.

Re-dump your game card. You don't want a patched ROM.

emm...u need a clean rom...
which is not patch one since the version newer than 2.4a does not required patch rom..

so i cant play it, or if i can , cn someone tell me WHAT TO DO LIKE INSTRUCTIONS. someone please give me a straight answer that actually corresponds with the question. im sorry guys. im just tryin to understand everythin

-Find a DS application that will dump your DS ROM.
-Put this on your flashcart.
-After booting up the application, remove the flashcart and put in your legit copy of Pokemon Diamond.
-After the dumping process is done, use your backup in No$gba.

so i just get another rom but what was the whole thing Dualscreenman was tellin me and i may sound dumb, but wat is a flashcart and where can i find an application. if therres a video on this, it would be very helpful

You need a real DS, and a (legit) copy of Pokemon Diamond, both which I assume you don't have due to the fact you don't know how to dump a ROM. Sorry, but if you downloaded the ROM, we can't help you.
