Compatability List for low-end pcs
This is my low-end pc compatability list. Of course this information may not be the same as yours. Some games support multiple save types. My pc is Intel Celeron M 1.30 GHz Windows XP with 256 MB of RAM. Please post additional information, but make sure the games where tested on low-end pcs. Also, please tell me if there is something I added incorrectly. Sorry if the list is not exactly alligned, but the window is too limited in space. Thank You.

Much of this speed is because of noticable frameskipping. I can play many games like castlevania DoS at 100% but so many frames get skipped, it's really not playable (I have a rather weak PC - Pentium4 3ghz, as well)...

The only thing that will be different for low-end PCs is speed. But even then, you don't gain too much extra speed with a high end pc, gotta admire that No$gba works well on all types of computers...

yup youre right the speed is really not noticeable even in high end because the emulator is still in development so speed problem is not at all related to cpu but the emulation of the emulator.

I've not tried a lot of games yet (mainly because I don't have time, or I don't like a lot of DS games). Anyway true 2D games generally run very well on my Athlon XP 2200+ (the bastard is just cheating, as you may know the real clock speed is 1800 mhz).
Super Robot W, SD Gundam G Generation DS, SNK Vs Capcom Card Fighter DS for example run at 100% with audio setted to 44100 hz (just SD Gundam suffers of slight slowdown during menu loading, with my settings, but I don't care). I've tried the last Zelda (don't remember the full title, damned japanese, I bet that they are making a contest for the longest title), but I've heard that that game doesn't run at a constant frame rate even on fast PC (except for some point). It runs quite well, but the audio isn't good and in some point there is heavy frameskipping. Anyway this is really an excellent emulator, also for its high performance with older PC, It really impressed me (I was thinking that DS emulation was something just for the fastest and newest PC until I've found this amazing program XD). |

Also, my graphic card is highly outdated. It doesn't even support most of the games that are released after about 2005. This may affect what my games show. |

Celeron 32 bit 2.53 Ghz, 256 MB RAM, 64 MB Integrated Intel Extreme 1 Graphics
no chance getting ff3 to 100% even with lotsa lag lets see... Phoenix Wright 1, 2, 3: 90-100% (100% with some noticeable frameskip, all with sound) SD Gundam G Generation DS: 90 - 100% (with sound, didn't get too far since i cant save oh well) Megaman ZX: 100% (occasional noticeable frameskip, but overall ran quite well) Jump Ultimate Stars: 80-100% (3d intro movie was 80, ranking results was 85-ish, overall was 95-100, frameskipping? definitely tho when its 1 v 1 usually ran pretty smoothly) Super Robot Wars W: 90-100% (definite frameskip in battles, some on map o.O) Digimon World Dawn/Dusk: 100% (some frameskipping in battle animations but thats about it) hope this helps? |

Yes, CPU speed affects the speed you will be getting on No$gba because I've tested on two pc's with different specs.
1st PC:- Amd Athlon XP 1800+ 1GB DDR333 Asus Nvidia N7600GS AGP 2nd PC:- Intel Pentium 4 3.0Ghz with HT 1.256 GB DDR2 MSI Nvidia 7600GS PCI Express I've tested them with three games, Pokemon Diamond, Final Fantasy III and New Super Mario Bros and the results as follows Pokemon Diamond 1st PC:- Outside: 50-60% Inside: 80-100% 2nd PC:- Outside: 80-100%(WOW) Inside:100% Final Fantasy III 1st PC:- World Map:30-60% Battle:80-100% 2nd PC:- World Map:70-80% Battle:100% New Super Mario Bros 1st PC:- World Map:30-50% In-game: 90-100% with noticeable frameskip ocassionally 2nd PC:- World Map: 60-80% In-game: 100% as smooth as it can be From this test we can conclude that ds emulation at this time does require a mid-class processor to work in full speed and I hope that in the near future, the developers of ds emulators can modify the emulators to work full speed even on old pc's like the amd Athlon XP or even Celeron processors |

I have a P4 1.7ghz Intel Pentium 4 processor and 1gb ram but it aint genuine and get speeds like Pi-one with NO sound but on my bro's laptop which is 1.7ghz dual core genuine intel and 2 gb ram i get full speed with sound... clear cut proof that u need a good PC and even better that it should be genuine and not celeron or others...
It's weird still that even with such changes there can be variations... something is a miss Can overclocking effect performance much? Lol this is why this unreliable circumstance encouraged me to buy a DS (oh yes I did have one before)
