I don't have that problem with Megaman ZX. Ditto about Battle Network 5 though.

Also, Megaman ZX Advent works perfectly with some slowdowns when bigger enemies appear (first boss for example).

Only people with embedded videocards that don't have any 3D acceleration whatsoever won't support the new transparency fix. If you computer is less than 10 years old you should be ok.

Nice update, I can't wait to get Contra 4 working on it, if it haven't been tested yet.

LOL! I retest it and I do not have discolorations for both of them anymore so everything's 100% fine for me now. What an odd, lol!

Well, Martin use Windows 95 for programming!

Yes, it's working just fine and nothing's wrong with it. I never liked the series but for you, enjoy it!

As long as you have any form of 3D acceleration whatsoever you should be fine.
Even Martin found that he had a 3D capable card. (Which is why he was able to test out this fix.)
Nobody should worry about it. If you don't have support for this fix, the games are going to be running unbearably slow on your computer anyway.

This is a fantastic release. For Dragon Quest Monsters Joker, the battle crashes on fert isle seems to be fixed as well. However Juice 2 Hot Import Nights still crashes after touching the screen at start menu.

Any improvements in speed or smoothness?
Even if there isn't, solving the transparency problems is still good enough for a release. ^_^

Oh, and concerning that, could someone confirm if the transparency is gone even if you have an on-board video card?

GREAT NEWS!

I love the new version. Transparency gone and a bit faster. I knew Martin could do it. No$GBA is the No. 1.

I am surprised about the Transparency bug. I thought he would not be able to solve it while he has no new Gfx card. Did he get one or what?

The Simpsons game still has that glitch that he doesnt reset the Character position after dying or falling into a hole. It works just fine in 2.5, I completed the game there.

Didn't you fanatically read the 2.5b release thread? :P
In that thread I reported that I had recieved an email from Martin that he found his embedded videocard had 3D acceleration features, and that he could work on a fix.

...not that I'm blaming you or anything. :P

As long as the embedded videocard has any form of 3D support (Most in the last 10 years do) then it should work just fine. The only drivers I know of that won't support this are Microsoft's software-rendering OpenGL driver.

Awesome! now I can play Mario vs Donkey Kong, it had transparency issues but no more, Super Princess Peach still has that bug with the bosses that neither you nor the boss attacks and you don't see your life and vibes lines but there is movement as in the clouds and the princess moving on the bottom screen but that's all, not response in the top screen to move the princess, nor pause, nor nothing.

Yoshi's Island DS at least doesn't crashes anymore when entering in the pipes.
