screw 2xPM.

Keep an eye on wolfwings, hqXx prject at zsnes forums, hes optimising the filter to remain in L1 cache, thus be highly efficient.

Zoom tools works can't w/out using CPU.,
if yr CPU not too update, Using "MyZoom" you should select software filters(DDraw3D/OpenGL),bcoz CPU filters is for newly CPU,At early "MyZoom" was both version,1 for CPU(best effect),1 Using software based filters;after combined in one version some plps might unknow to change filters mode.
on my old CPU i using DDraw3D screenline filter with 40 FPS.
if you just request simply Zoom & speed,NOZ might good for you.or u can waitting for the v3 that mysoft made changes for u.

the HQ version of 2xPM is indeed a little better than HQ2X... but i will need to try and compile that plugin as a library... so i can test with freebasic, but i'm not sure it will be faster than the full asm optimized version of hq2x, and... the lq2x is better than the LQ version of 2xPM, but about that, if i will go for lq2x than i will be trying something based on 2xsal that is twice faster than the lq2x...

you are probabily with the "default microsoft" driver for your Video Card... instead of the updated one...

Although mysoft did recently show off a WIP version (which he since removed) there has been nothing new.

just extract it into your no$gba folder...
its the debug version... but yeah... its a TEST version =)

so it's featuring 3 important things

1) it allow you to select your input/output devices (so people that have especial microphones will be able to get it working) ps: open the setup after changing device... for it to take effect
2) volume control... you have microphone and output volume control (from 0% to 400%!!)
3) it will be updating only parts that actually got changed... so it become much faster than the previous version (for those that doesnt have dual core)

so, since i can't work on it for a while... that part may help some people until i get the V3.0 done

Can anyone tell me where to get the updated video driver? How do you check if your video driver is already the latest or not?

you're using the v2.5b right? (and its the real nds2xGL)... so update your video card driver (or install a proper video driver not a M$ common one)... another possibility is that you're using VISTA... in that case you need to start it with XP compatibility mode...

(tais usando versão 2.5 né? e é nds2xgl mesmo né? então tenta atualizar os drivers da tua placa de vídeo (pq pelo oq eu viz os que tem (Microsoft Corporation) no final lá, tem problemas com OpenGL), e se tu tens o Windows VISTA daí tu tenque ativar o modo de compatibilidade com o XP.

No, when using Vista all that has to be done is to disable desktop composition (Aero) on it.
