I have the white screen problem but for some reason disabling desktop compostition does not fix it, does anyone have any ideas or is it that im completly ****ed

Yeh but that one is qute slow, and i had this one working on an older verson of the emu, but i cant downgrade it because some of my games wont work on it.

well... all i know its...

1) update your video driver card (those who show "Microsoft Corporation" have Bad Opengl Support)
2) try setting for 15bit / poppy bright (in the emulator)
3) you can try changing from 16 bit to 32bit textures (nds2xgl config)
4) try disabling especial themes... (XP runs fine with all DEFAULT themes), the rest i dunno for sure... but that will be better in the next version (sorry for dont have much time to be working on it)
5) if you're in vista you MUST use XP compatibility mode...
6) if you have an anti-virus that block those things (like kapersky), try to temporally disable it while you open nds2xgl... to see if by any chance it solves the problem.
7) that one is less likely... but check nds2xgl config (set it to 30fps instead of 60fps or vsync... (vsync will draw as much frames as possible in the current version if it disabled in your video card... so it may "null" the emulator...)
8) avoiding have a higher priority for the emulator... than you have for nds2xgl (that may prevent it from update...)

im not sure if all those hints are clear... but it may explain some things =)

so, i will be installing Windows 7, soon... and then hopefully that will allow me to understand Vista Problems (both use the 'same' kernel)

just extract it into your no$gba folder...
its the debug version... but yeah... its a TEST version =)

so it's featuring 3 important things

1) it allow you to select your input/output devices (so people that have especial microphones will be able to get it working) ps: open the setup after changing device... for it to take effect
2) volume control... you have microphone and output volume control (from 0% to 400%!!)
3) it will be updating only parts that actually got changed... so it become much faster than the previous version (for those that doesnt have dual core)

so, since i can't work on it for a while... that part may help some people until i get the V3.0 done

Thanks for this release but virus detected (fake positive) with Antivir 8 (->TR/Hijacker.Gen).

live with it, applications that hook memory access's typically do have virus type behavior,

yeah, the v3.0 have those options... also... it was 1x+2x the currently have the "2x" in the name but its actually 1.5x
i also removed menu and status bar, cuz it just cause trouble... so i will be using "floating" menus...

1x+2X = best gba's zoom!

what you mean... by improve? speed up? more?
i have created 2 more options that i can add... one is noise blur especially good for movies... and games that have color shade variation... and the other is rgb2x (that's an older filter of mine... that they have used something similar in dosbox)
im not very interested into 2xsal and similar... cuz hq2x is better (ok... slower), but anyway even in this v2.7 that i will be polishing this week (i tought i already had done that, but well, aparently not :P), will only update parts that got changed... so it speed up render with hq2x, especially for games that doesnt have fullscreen action... and for those that have one screen action, and other status...

if you got the 2.7 version, even that isnt working very well... you can control the volume using the mouse wheel :P, and for the updated 2.7 i found the problem that make it freezes while "finding no$gba window" =)

Can you change it so the start-up wouldn't show a picture of you and your friend? I understand it is for you personally but I don't think we have to have it.

Hey im new and not sure how old this forum is found it on google, but I open my gba and works fine, but once I open the nds2xgl gba disappears, once i open task manager it says both are still running but I dont hear or see any windows, nds2xgl is ran in xpz compatibility mode

the addition of lq2x would be nice.
