About Maximize option

Hi everyone, I'm new here. I have a simple question, sorry if it's already asked.
When I press maximize, nothing happens. Is this normal?

maximise, the square between the minimise and close button on the top right corner.

DS games don't currently allow maximising.

I also searched, and couldn't find the topic of Maximize option. I wonder why it can't be used yet, really looking forward for the day that we can use it, and with filters like SuperEagle

You can also use Compiz Fusion if you are in Linux. (And if you are running no$gba in Wine)
Compiz comes with a zoom plugin. Speed suffers a little bit, but meh, at least I get mipmapping.

Oh, and I wasn't really getting 1% and %50 there, it's just that the screenshot app drove the percentage down when it started up.

There's always the trick of using the windows compatibility mode to temporarily resize your desktop to 640x480 whilst the emu is active.
