attack animations in pkmn diamond

is this normal that i cant see any attack animations? for example when i use ember there is no fire etc and enemy pkmn get hit :/ i saw few movies from ds and those animations looks great. any1 can help?

Honestly, we get questions like these so often (Especially about Pokemon) that it gets very samey and aggrivating. People like Squall-Leonheart really help out in our community, and considering he answers a lot of questions in several forums, I can understand how he feels. So if he acts a little harshly, let it slide. The real problem is how no one knows how to use the search funciton (I think a sticky thread or a forum-wide announcment is in order, explaining how to do so).
