Yea I got that. It's some configuration file. Also, why does no$gba to vba not work on vista? I kept getting an error 76.

I'm not talking about unable to open file, I'm talking about the .exe file itself won't run.

i have vista, the error your getting is from something your doing wrong, it has nothing to do with which microsoft os you have...... your prob not using the pokesav correctly. make a step by step list of what your doing, to see if we can help you out. |

Howdy folks, ironically I did not have an account on here. No$gba Converter has a useful faq you might want to use if you have problems http://www.angelfire.com/games6/battery/ I apologise in advance for it being an angefire site, I know, I'm not an angelfire fan myself but I havent had time to port it over to a domain yet. Hope that helps - KermEd |

did you followed the instructions correctly? save states must be uncompressed then convert the file then use pokesav and save you also must input some basic infos on the editor to prevent corruptions |

can I get help editing my poke's 'trainer memo' page? primarily what the poke likes to eat and the trainer comment of the poke ? . . . p.s. giving pikachu 'rockHead' to make it immune from volt tackle's recoil was brilliant! ^_^ |

Also having the error limaho posted when using no$GBA 2.6/2.6a, no$GBAtoVBA 3.0, and pokesav 0.39eng/0.38b. After following the steps posted (they're all the same, really doesn't matter as there is only one way to set up the program correctly) here and elsewhere, I continually end up with the "save file has been erased due to corruption or damage" error. This happens regardless of what has been edited, even if I open the newly converted file simply to save and exit. Even loading a pre-made .pkm to an empty box results in this error. This has been annoying me on and off for the last few hours, as I progress in the game normally and then try to edit the save from my most current position. Is no$GBA simply not compatible with saves edited via pokesav or has anyone one else had this problem and found a solution? Some things I have yet to check are if it is region-related or a no$GBA 2.6 problem. Also noticeable is that whenever I open a converted save (first time after creation) it never has my currently-owned Pokemon listed correctly. They always appear as a separate species/type with an irregular moveset and name containing characters unsupported by pokesav. I question whether this could be due to the fact that my current setup is using both English and Japanese language settings, though I have yet to test my suspicions. Any help would be highly appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ EDIT: As it turns out, Regional and Language Options was the problem. I had to change my language settings for non-Unicode from Japanese to English (United States) and everything is working fine now. Names in the editor show up correctly and I am able to load my edited .sav files in-game without the corruption error. Last edited by CEOrko; January 26th, 2008 at 15:38.. Reason: solution found |
