Is there any way to make the mic work with the first Phoenix Wright (the only one I have) when yelling out take that, objection, etc? The blowing works just fine with my mic, but it doesn't seem to recognize the rest.

phantom hour glass
Anyone been able to get the salvage arm in phantom hour glass from cannon island, with a mic or with audacity and if so what did you have to say or play in order for him to sell it to you and did he give you a good price or 1000$ or did he just keep saying that he wont sell it to you?
![]() Been able to say hello to the gypsy, blow out the candles, dust off the map and blow the windmills with some beatboxin on the mic but as for this im stumped tried shouting "SALVAGE ARM" and doing the same pattern of BB for the blowing stuff and playing audio none of it has worked yet guess ill go back to fishing until then... |

I did and he said to me you do not need to be very louder or something then sold it to me for $200!. You need mic to scream aloud then stop scream and he will start to say something and that's how I bought this cannon for 200.... what a deal!
![]() Mic for this emulator is 100% perfectly fine to me. I finished this cannon island. I am wayyyy beyond whale island and now I am back to Phantom Hourglass Dungeon for my next one. I am not finish.

I dont turn to realtime speed. I remain it in 50% but turn the sound on instead and when I am finish with mic then I turn sound off for better speed then turn it on when mic is need.

I have tried Audacity with Phoenix Wright and noticed that it is takes a long time to clear the powder during the fingerprint part of the game. Although the powder is clearing, however I have yet to see a fingerprint after waiting half an hour. How long does it take to clear a fingerprint using Audacity in NO$GBA? What is the name of the song that you use on Audacity for this part of the game?

also you really dont need audacity you can tell winxp to use the stereomix for recorder if its its availble and just play music with any audio player, open up the volume control panel and click file -> properties then click the recording button then check on stereo mix then hit okay and the recording volume control panel will popup then check the SELECT checkbox under your stereomix or whatever it calls it on your computer then play with the volume control to your liking then use the emulator might need to leave the recording control panel open. whilst using the emulator.

I got my Mic for like $1.75 US. It doubles as a microphone extender cable for some reason too! Works oddly well.
I've got my mic to work fine with the 1st PW game.

for the blowing thing, is kinda tricky, but last night while testing it in that blowing balloons minigame in New Super Mario Bros I realized that the trick is not get the mic too close to your mouth, keep it at a certain distance from your mouth for it to work, I passed that mini game after several tries.
Also another thing you have to do is in the recording volume control activate the mic recording one (like normally you would do if you want to use the mic to record your voice) and set the volume for it high, keep the volume controls window opened and then play the game, that was how it did worked for me, also additionally activate the mic boost in the mic volume control advanced properties to get a boost on the volume for it and also set the mic playback volume high too. |

Well not quite since remember that the sound of the music and sound effects of the game cover most of the noises the mic can do, also it depends of the mic you use, mine I had it with the mic boost and the volume high and it worked fine, guess it also depends on each soundcard
