Can't get past D/P Title screen

As the title suggests, my Pokemon D/P roms are getting stuck at the title screen. It is asking me to press start and I do but it just sits there. The music is still playing and I have checked the controls. Have I got a setting wrong?

I downloaded the bios and firmware from the net and decrypted the roms, change the memory to Flash 512 and tried 4 different roms, but to no avail.
Please if you know the problem or just a possible solution, help me out here.

You know you MUST dump the bios and the firmware from your own DS, and dump your own card, else you've obtained them illegally? Anyway, reporting this, as ngemu doesn't support piracy.

lol an emulator website that doesn't support piracy.
I have my own DS, just not all the cables to hax it, and have already pre-ordered pearl so keep your pants on.
Anyway I've gotten past the title screen just had to wait a looooong time. This is certainly slow even for a 3.4ghz. Outside it is about 1 frame per 2secs.
Pushing the process to realtime priority and setting emulator speed to Disaster 100%, nets another frame per 2secs. I'm sure you all know this though so I'll be quite.

Yes, and your point being? Emulation != piracy

First, you don't have your own bios. Owning a DS doesn't get yourself rights to own ALL bioses for all the DS systems there exist, only yours. That's a fact, not something subjective, as there're laws against that. And you don't have the game, as you state above, so your game dump has been obtained illegally.
