Question Will my computer work well with No$GBA?

I am curious to know if my compy is going to work well with No$GBA.

OS: Windows XP
RAM: 512mb
Video RAM: 32mb (from what I've seen, this isn't good. x.x)
Graphics Card: Radeon 7000 AGP (I don't think this is good either.)

So?

If i may ask, what is the speed of your computers processor, since that will also attribute to how well the emulator runs.

Depends on what your emulating. NINTENDO GameBoy Advance games or NINTENDO DS Games. GameBoy Advance would be completely playable on what you have right now, but DS Games... I highly doubt your PC would be able to handle it. I could be wrong however, as I've seen some 16 MB Video PCs handle Nintendo 64 Games. Anyways, my suggestion to you is if your doing this for DS games, then try the Emulator out for yourself, if your doing this for GameBoy Advance Emulation, then you are COMPLETELY OK. GameBoy Advance doesn't require a too high powered core PC to emulate it.

i have a 1.7ghz cpu with 256 agp card and 1gb ram and it works fine with normal emulation but it is recommended for slow games to be played with double speed and turn the sound off or else it will crash. If the speed is fine only minor slow down on games like harvest moon then use 1.5 multi. I don't know if sound affects this setting but keep it off too since sound is not very well heard. Sure Martin Korth will come up with its solution next release. Desemu has better sound than no$gba but compatibility lacks.

ShakirMole your PC is still a whole lot better than D3FAULT's.

I would not trust your PC to get much better than slideshow graphics D3FAULT.

I recomend the following minimum configuration for DS emulation:
Pentium 4/AMD Sempron generation of processor with 1.6 GHz Clock
512 MB of system RAM
GFX Card with 128 MB of GFX RAM
24bit Sound Device

The newer version is slower so no-go, more 3D = slower....granted it's not too much, but the slower the machine the more one will notice the difference between 2.3d and 2.4, at least I notice a performance drop between those two on my machine eventhough it is a performance machine I can't run 2.4 with TV card in the background without getting heavy lag on both the emulator and the TV image, whilst with 2.3d I could use both together with little to no lag and then only in the TV card.

I've been meaning to try no$gba for a while. How will mine handle it?

Sempron 2600+ 64 @ 1.6Ghz
1gb ram
GeForce FX 5500 256mb

What sort of speeds will I achieve?

Cheers

No$gba will run good. When the speed is low just change the speed options to double speed or speed 1.5.
