Well, I don't know why speediakal, but I'm playing and the speed is very good.
And many people are playing, so, maybe, there's something wrong with your settings.

well, i didn't download 2.4a, but now i did and speed is, well, playable, full speed inside, and avg. of 70% outside with a low of 40% and a high of 95%.

ok, I know you guys hav explained this a million times today but I cannot seem to get eithe diamond or pearl to work.

this is what i haveall in the same folder)
both roms
no$gba 2.4a
the encryptor
bios files
firmware
patch files

lets see, this is what i have done:
a)loaded the encryptor and pressed 1. (when i do this, the encryptor goes away and i get a txt file in my folder)
b)then i bring up the patch file from kingcom and i put my rom on top and the ips on bottom (i clicked on both the little boxes on bottom..not sure what they meant)
c) I open my No$gba up nd when the box comes up i click on the original rom file that i have

and nothing happens, the background of the emu. is just gray and nothing loads..what am i doing wrong, or what do i need to do?

sorry to be another guy to ask for help but i've tried to do this all day.

i think it is because of the checked boxes you ckicked..i didnt clicked them and my game runs fine

I downloaded the entire rom again and patched it without checking the boxes and it still doest work

hey when you use the encrypt tool does it show that the rom is patched??Cause when i download it for the first time when i used it..it was closed immediatly and it isnt working..So i download it again

no, it just closes immediatly an puts a "patchengine.txt" file in my folder.
i downloaded the encryptor from 2 different sites as well.. maybe its all the roms i've been using were bad..but I dont really think so.

If so then eNDryptS won't work propperly as it's DOS...I think there's another called NDStool but I have never used it nor know where to find it?

could somebody pm me (or post) how their folder that contains their emu is set up? (ie: whats in it) just to make sure i have it right, as i'm new to the nds emus.

Nah, I never say that. That's why I am not being selfish. I always share with you guys when I found something very useful and it did. I am not fan of Pokemon but I want you guys to be happy and play it anyway.

Just don't encript the game file, post a shot of your emu config window and your emu folder.
Don't do nothing with the game file, just use the patch.
Set the "RESET/STARTUP ENTRYPOINT" tab to "Start Cartridge Directly".
I'll read your problem again and see if I can help, but do what I said first.

EDIT: I re-read your post.
1st: Do NOT encrypt the game file.
2nd: Follow these steps:
- Use the patch (you don't need to check those box...);
- Look if the "RESET/STARTUP ENTRYPOINT" tab is set to "Start Cartridge Directly";
- SAVE SETTINGS;
- Open the game (or restart it).

Ok, new issue; I got the rom to work, however it only works when I have he sound disabled on the options, and I like to hear the sound if possible, any solutions?

Well, new solution:
If the sound is disable, the game freezes after battles.
Turn on the sound, but It's not that good yet, if you want more quality, set it to Digital Stereo and High 44kHz but that can make the game runs slower, and because the speed, the sound can be weird.
I play without volume, then I can't say if the sound is good or not.

The trick is, change it into realtime speed.

Then wait a bit.

Then turn on sound at digital stereo best.

It will end up in PERFECT sound.

Your config screen should be like this, although I only have basic sound enabled. Make sure you save the options.
