I bet that by the same time tomorrow, there'll be numerous fakes of those games floating around various p2p networks.
Good thing that I'm not going to obtain it illegally - I'd probably lose my patience many times over by trying to find the real copies among the fakes. ![]() (What is it about Pokemon that drivers people crazy, anyway...?) |

(off-topic X2) yay halo3 is coming, and the sooped-up 360 (xbox elite) is coming at end of month.) [same as 360 but with more mem/ram and multi-cable included, plus its black/looks pirty (pretty) ] --------------------- i get no$ is relatively new, but as far as features / and being user-Friendly, its way behind vba. thats an issue i dont think that time/new versions will fix. but i wont lie i use no$ also, and it bugs the 'dump' out of me, that it (no$) seem to run larger games better than vba, perhaps instead of hoping that no$ gets better (more improved) we should look forward/push for vba improving instead.) ( dont you all crucify me all at one now )

well VBA cant emulate DS, VBA is the best GBA emulator, but for DS NO$ has made the most progress for now. Plus. I'm not sure about this, but i think VBA has been discontinued (no more improvements for it...)
[OFF TOPIC:] Wii beats the crap out of PS3 and XBOX 360

It's real - see the other post: http://forums.ngemu.com/no-gba/88462...ml#post1127164
Except you won't be able to load the saves, some Communication error appears in the English version.... I just discovered that the SAV file saved for the english version of Pokemon is playable with the japanese version as well - and your pokemon's name will be in English! Havn't tried the other way around since I can't load any saves from the english version. But I'm pretty sure it works too - but why would you want your Pokemon to be in their japanese name in an English version...

Take a shot of your emu folder, and your emu config window and post them here.... BTW, a quick question for anyone: When do you let your pokémon to evolve? Right when it gets THE right lvl or when it gets A right lvl? Last edited by Gladiator@; April 22nd, 2007 at 02:53. |

speediakal , I think that you have some problems with your configurations , or is an error in your rom (?)
Because touchscreen works for me in every game. And as far as I know, I didn't even have to make that firmware.bin |

speediakal, after testing and some combination of settings, I've figured out something.
If you have a genuine Firmware.bin (one that is dumped, not a renamed no$gba.inp), and it's in the folder, you must choose "GBA Bios" when you start instead of "Start Cartridge Directly", otherwise the touchscreen simply won't work. If you renamed no$gba.inp to firmware.bin, then you cannot choose "GBA Bios" because it's not a real firmware file, so you have to "Start Cartridge Directly", however the touchscreen and save will work correctly this way. If there's no firmware.bin file at all, and you choose to "Start Cartridge Directly, some games simply won't load properly. |

pokemon evolve when they get to a certain level, lets say for monferno to evolve into infernape it's lvl36, so when it gets level 36 it starts to evolve. you can cancel the evolution by clicling the b button (the cancel button) and the next time the pokemon gets a new level, e.g. lvl37 it wil try to evolve again. there are items to permanently stop evolution.
hope this answers your question |
