Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Spirit Caller suddenly stopped working? (No$GBA2.3c)

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Spirit Caller suddenly stopped working?

I can't get it to load at all with this new version...it's most probably something silly but I can't find it at the moment.

I was having such a blast with it before I wanted to see if it runs even better but I can't load it at all. Can anyone else?

O you gotta be kidding me. I just tested Yu-Gi-Oh! Nightmare Troubadour and it now get's to the Start screen, but start can't be clicked.....so it looks like they gained some support for Nightmare Trouabadour, but lost some all for Spirit Caller.

what settings are you using? I was using the exact same as before with version 2.3b and it's won't load at all, the screen just stays that weird greeny colour with the precentage meter ticking over.

especially what's your setting for the new solar feature?

o man I figured out the problem and I feel like a real idiot now...

I forgot to copy the firmware file together with the bioses, I was running it with the bios files only.

Sorry about this, any mods can feel free to delete this thread now.

I knew it was something silly.

Now I'm having a problem. It seems no matter how many different dumps of the ROM I download, No$GBA tells me the rom data cannot be read. Any suggestions?

Since 2.3b the memory type is not automatic, you have to set it yourself in in the settings.
Set it to 256K Flash I think.
Of course once you have done that you need to reset the cartridge.

^That's the thing about the emulator. The programmer behind it trying to work on compatibilty first. Optimization will come in later.

Slow to a crawl? on Unlimited Mhz Disaster 10% I get near perfect peformance, a lil lag, but it's like running a game on a comp which is only just better than the minimum requirements, so I can still play it fine.

I can't get Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Spirit Caller to run at all. I run the game but nothing shows up on the screen. However, Yu-Gi-Oh! Nightmare Troubadour works, although very slowly. I'm wondering what emulation settings everyone is using in order to get Spirit Caller to work? I'm using No$GBA2.3c btw.

Make sure you have the firmware file in the same directory as no$gba executable and that it is named firmware.bin not ds_firmware.bin or any other names.
