No$GBA Screen freeze
Hello I have been browsing your forums for a while but was able to figure most things out without needing to ask questions until now. For some reason on most of the games I play the screen will randomly get stuck on a picture and still be playing as if nothing was wrong. This happens on one of either screens or both at the same time on occasions, after a while or after taking it out of full screen and lowering it on my task bar 2 or 3 times fixes this problem, but it happens often and at inconvenient times... and I die, boo hoo. I think it might be something with my monitor refresh rate so im going to mess with that now, but I am curious if anyone has a quick fix to this problem, or even knows what I am talking about. |

So as it turns out it was not my refresh rate, now im stuck. I changed sync to async and that seemed to work for a short time till only the bottom screen froze. Could it be that im on vista? or possibly something with my display settings?

What games are you trying to emulate?

It sounds like you are minimizing the emulator which in no$gba's case does not pause emulation but it emulate the closing of the DS lid which causes many games to glitch and freeze as you descibe, sometimes just minimizing 2 or 3 times again as you said removes the glitch but other times no$gba just plain crashes. I am afraid there's no way you can turn this behaviour off though. A workaround for pausing the game would be simply opening the settings window for instance, or the cheats window and then closing it once you want to resume playing.

Hello again, I apologize I figured out the problem but have been so busy playing I forgot to leave a message of what the problem was... it was actually because I was using GL instead of DirectX... Im an idiot, well im an emulation nub anyways.
