should i avoid using no$gba?
havent played it in a long time since i've been without a PC, but i recently picked up one of those tiny netbooks. for a little, four hundred and change, 'baby computer' it has been working surprisingly well. so i figured it was worth it to at least check how no$gba would run, and fossil fighters (seemed like a decent test game, nothing too advanced but still 3D graphics) plays really nicely, slows down at times but of course i expected that. after reading the section of the FAQ that mentions overheating/overclocking especially with laptops, i'm wondering if its maybe not safe to use the emulator on a netbook. |

It should be fine, there's safeguards in place to prevent overheating so much that serious damage occurs. Also no$gba stresses your netbook no more than any other application that uses 100% CPU power would (so considering the limited power of a netbook pretty much everything uses 100%).

You're welcome ![]() I must say I am surprised at how well it's working though considering some beefier PCs struggle.
