Elite Beat Agents sound issue

I'm having sound issues with Elite Beat Agents. Throughout the whole game, the sound has background flickering and appears to be of poor quality. The settings are correct and no other game features this. I'm using v2.6a. Does anybody know how to fix this?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Either use the Noise Remover program or No$Zoomer, which has the Noise Remover program implemented inside it. Both of these programs can be found in the sticky threads.

Thank you! I'll check them out.

Hm, I've tried No$Zoomer and it seems to be an awesome tool, but the noise feature won't turn on for some reason. No matter how often I click on it, it doesn't appear to be checked.

It doesn't. It's a bit like a carpenter's plane. Every time you select it, it scrapes a bit of noise away. Just keep on selecting it until you have the desired effect. Noise levels vary by hardware and game, so this is the easiest method, I guess.
