Pokemon Platinum ROM Help Needed!

The problem started as I suspect it starts for many people: I used the save state function and the game crashed the next time I attempted to load the state.

Here's where it gets tricky: every time I load the ROM now, the screen turns blank right after the menu screen. I have isolated the problem and it has to do with the sound function.

Whenever my sound option is set to "Digital Stereo" the ROM freezes in its current frame and refuses to play.

Whenever my sound option is set to "None" the ROM will play but gets stuck after the menu screen. I assume this is because of the problem illustrated in the FAQ where the game waits for a sound that never comes.

So you can see my quandary. Any help forthcoming? Many thanks.

Delete the .sav and set the sound option to Digital Mono.
If that doesn't help, please post your No$GBA and Windows version.

Also try delete no$gba.ini and setting the emu up as needed again.
