The game itself is not 100% playable. At times the sound does not play at times, and it does not run very smoothly at all when boss battling or even monster battling. The problem however seems like it is coming from your side. You may not have registered the save file or corrupted the save file.

I don't think you understand what does fully playable means. Fully playable means that you can get through the whole game without any problems. Anything that does not prevent the player from finishing the game does not count. Also, the game being playable or not has nothing to do with TC's question.

On topic: Did you set the correct save type? Have you try using other cheat codes to see if that happens as well?

I tested them and found that codes like these work:

Max Zenny (Press Select)
94000130 FFFB0000
020F93B4 000F423F
D2000000 00000000

::All Battle Cards (Select)
94000130 FFFB0000
C0000000 0000018D
220F8D74 00000063
DC000000 00000004
D2000000 00000000

But the hp 9999 and All War Rock weapons dont seem to work, and the codes i tried havent crashed my game yet. This is where I got the codes Ar codes for the US version of Mega Man Star Force 3 : Black Ace? - Yahoo! Answers

I know what it means, there is a couple of problems with the game however, for example freezing when saving. That can cause a corrupt in the save file, and yes it has happened to people.

Then you should have said that in your first post. >_>

@Kaitsu55
It said the codes were converted from the Japanese version, so I guess some of the codes are not correct (ie. containing wrong values) which are not usable in the US version. You might have to wait for awhile for new codes that are not converted from the Japanese version.
