Pokemon Platinum Saving problem, my resolve.

Noticed alot of people are having issues with their saves on pokemon platinum.

The problem seems to be to do with the emulation speed not soley "NDS cartridge backup media", just make sure you don't save while at 1.5* or 2* real time "emulation speed, LCD refresh". Save under Realtime/Auto using ether FLASH 256KBytes or FLASH 512KBytes backup media as described in other threads and it works.

hope it's of help, works for me. ^_^Y

the emulation speed is a cycle rate changer, corrupt data may be generated while the core is overclocked.

And use 512k Flash. Else data may be lost.

Save file will be updated/created when you close the emu, load another game, or reload (not reset) the current game.

thanks :}

for clarification Festino. It works for me everytme when I ....

(1) Have "Flash 512Kbytes" selected as my NDS Cartridge Backup Media
(2) Save while running under "Realtime/Auto" Emulation Speed
(3) File > Quit (Alt+X) after save to commit save data to HD.

My save is always stored after these steps,
