NO$Zoomer (Versatile addon which fixes some games but _ONLY_ WITH no$gba 2.6a) - Page 18

This is really a great app. Though id wish that there was some faq for the options. I now got the most important functions figured out. I just have a few questions:

1. Has No$Zoomer the ability to fix the sound if its broken up in case of insufficient speed? I guess this could be solved pretty easily with buffering the sound.

2. I tried to play Big Bang Mini, but the picture keeps jumping between the top and lower screen. Its unplayable this way. is there a way to fix that?

3. I cant activate the noise surpression( or however called, dont have the nerv to open the program now).

2. Try using the EX options and activate them all.
3. Press "Ctrl+R".

then you're "latest" is infact an older build lacking the updated english file

"Press Ctrl+R" only works in no$zoomer at WinDS PRO pack =), but you can add this shortcut in the options if you download no$zoomer at this page.

how do u turn on the sound and slow the emu down some ...im playing naruto shippuden shinobi retsuden 3 but it plays very fast and there is not sound

nevermind i figured it out about the sound but how to slow it down is the case now...

(sigh) i feel like such a newb i figured that part out too...sorry for the post

i forgot to change sound and speed go to the emu settings not the zoomer...

this a great freakin app too...this game wouldn't play this good without it

You can assignment shortcut keys by going to Other>Key assignments, so I wouldn't say it only works in No$Zoomer at WinDS PRO pack.

Ok here it goes. I have No$GBA+No$zoomer 2.3.0.2. I am currently playing Phantom Hourglass. Whenever I save the game while using No$zoomer and reset it, upon getting to the laoding screen (after pressing start) I get the fatal error stating that ROM image has crashed. It then goes into a Microsoft Runtime Error. So its not very specific.

Anywho the save game will work in No$GBA but not Zoomer, and I am not using the save state as it doesnt work. So ya that about sums up my questions. This is driving me nuts.

Ok I will give that a try. I am running Vista though so don't know if that matters.

It didnt work. I DL Runtime 6 SP6 and still the rom image crashes. This is the full error after that.

Mircosoft Visuall C++ Runtime library

This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Please contact the developers blah blah blah.

I am thinking there is a problem with the save game becasue when I close No$zoomer without loading a game I get the same runtime error. But as I said the Fatal Error occurs after the save game takes place and only in No$zoomer. It runs fine AFAIK without it.

The only reason i ask is beacuse I have to use No$zoomer to play Knights in the Nightmare and if I can;t save then whats the point.

Since I don't know which No$Zoomer that you downloaded from, try downloading the No$Zoomer from Squall's latest post in this thread.

I downloaded the no$zoomer 2.3.0.2 and no$gba 2.6.

I checked the ini file and it looks like this.Also I placed them all into 1 folder(other attachment).

And the text overlay is still there.Could anyone help?or send me a link with the already configured emulator.BTW I have never gotten past the first battle,as soon as I see the text overlay,I reset the game and try agaib.

Game fixes only work with No$GBA 2.6a, which is currently legally unavailable.

I have downloaded squall's upload of NoZoomer and I have a question. How can I enable vsync? I have tried forcing in the nvidia panel of my videocard, also tried the two options: sync and async and nothing or maybe it is unimplemented on the program and I should give up?

@andrew: Not with No$Zoomer. No$PMP should work with 2.6, though.

AFAIK I have squalls version. If ya can give me a link that would be great so that I can be sure. It could be that this problem is related to Zelda though. I was able to save with Front Mission without a problem. Still kinda annyoing though.

Why are you resetting the game? that does nothing...only reloading the game or loading another game cause the save to be written to the HDD.

Well I had to go to work so I saved the game and shut it down. Later I started it and it kept crashing. So I started to track down the problem. In game, with Zelda anyways, you have the option to Save and Quit. To localize the problem that is what I did. Upon getting to the loading screen the image crashes. Its a problem with the save game file.

However I had another version of No$zoomer that hasnt been translated and it works fine. I dunno i am still tinkering.
