How noob I'm at the moment. At least, you can get more quality in the emulator than in the normal console. That's one of the uses of emulation, apart from savestates, re-recording, etc. Bye. Pd: Thanks for the info of the HQ2x.

It's not a virus, it's merely a false positive so ignore it. AVG detects it as a virus because of the way it works.

injects or manipulates in memory data to fix bugs, like gfx glitching and slowness.

Me too, because it has a filter (HD2x) which makes the emu gain in quality. Bye.

Um, firstly, the one that get rid of the text overlap is the 2.3.0.2 version, posted somewhere in the thread but not in the first post. Secondly, are you trying to execute a *.7z file by double-clcking it? You know that it's a compressed file and you need to extract it first right? Then if you have the 7-zip program, right-click the file and choose "extract", and execute the no$zoomer

Anyone know what render: Sync and Async do? And on Update Interval, what does the Automatic Skip do and what should the fps be at? Also, on No$gba Setup, what does Muliboot Normal/BurstDelays and Solar Sensor Level do? And on the Controls, what does Game Screen Filter do (the Scale2x)? And what do Game Screen Sizing do? Sorry for the masses of question but would be helpful if they are answered. Last edited by rosenkreuz; May 28th, 2009 at 07:09.. |

I think sync and async refer to methods of synching the game to it's audio but I am not sure they work as intended yet. Automatic skip sets the number of frames the game automatically skips so it can run acceptable on your system (also not sure this works as intended). I keep on forgetting what the native FPS of a DS is...it think it's either 60 or 30...so the FPS should be set to either of those...once again I am not sure how well this feature works but I assume it's meant as an FPS limiter. Multiboot/BurstDelays you don't need to worry about as they refer to GBA linking and have nothing to do with DS. The Solar Sensor level refers to a feature some GBA games required like Boktai-The Sun is in your Hand, thus it has no relevance to DS gaming. The game screen filter in no$gba also refers to GBA games, it allowed you to natively (without an addon) increase the size of the no$gba window and automatically apply a filter to it to smooth out all the blocks that come at a bigger size, however it does not work for DS games and so also has no relevance to them. Game screen sizing? Where? If you mean in no$gba itself it refers to increasing the window size...which does not work for DS games. If you are referring to one of No$Zoomer's functions then it increases the window sizes for DS games. If you are struggleing to run the game acceptably though then this may further reduce your performance.

Hey guys, does anyone know why my game always freezes? Everytime I start a rom with Zoomer, it loads fine. But when I click on the menu bars at the top and then go back to the game, it just freezes. And I can't do anything with it besides Close it. When I do, my task manager still has the No$GBa process running. It's really annoying... Oh and where do I find these EXTRA options? I can't find them at all.. |
