Are you running fullscreen or simply maximised? If it's fullscreen it should be stretched to the maximum possible for your monitor height whilst keeping the same resolution. If it's just maximised then you can control the screen size ratio in one of the menus yourself.

By the way for the ones who downloaded the file posted by Squall, I found out why you didn't got the load game window, is just that the NO$Zoomer.ini file was searching the NO$GBA.exe file on the path it got on Squall's PC, I mean in the .ini file it appeared the path pointing to D:\Cartdrige\No$GBA or something like that, what I'm sure is that it was pointing to D:\

That's why Squall several times told you to delete that .ini file and run NO$Zoomer to create a new one.

Maybe this already got explained but just in case I'm putting it here, also on the file I attached on my post before this one on page 11 I deleted the path to NO$GBA.exe on the ini file, so it is just matter that you open the .ini file in notepad and type the path to where you have the NO$GBA in your PC and save it and that's all

the latest uploads have the path removed, but regardless the app will ask for the location if it can't find.

Windows update drivers >.>, they shouldn't be allowed to distribute graphics drivers, since the issues with Vista (which they caused)

Well I tested Windows 7 Beta and RC1 and it downloaded the drivers for my graphic card an Nvidia GeForce 5500 and it worked pretty fine, mostly since it was Nvidia the ones who gave them the drivers to work with Windows 7 so they could distribute them with Windows Vista.

I tested NO$GBA and worked without problems, I'm still testing it thoug, but so far all is fine ^^

But I do agree with you, Vista was a mess on incompatibility U_U

You'd think Nvidia would hate Microsoft still for what they did with the original Xbox, as well, but that's for another topic..

You obviously downloaded 2.6a that contains an illegal firmware file. We don't support piracy as stated in the forum's rules.

I don't think you understand what I'm trying to say. no$gba doesn't come with any firmware and/or bios file(s). And seeing as you said your game shows up as German in 2.6a means that you downloaded an illegal copy of the donated version, which is counted as warez. We don't support people who download warez.

OK!!I got the app to beat FFIV's text pile by changing the release of the game I was using(2624) something that rhymes with spleenophobia,The other release still keeps the text pile for some reason. Also, this was tested and works with 2.6a.

Well I tested NO$GBA in Windows 7 with those drivers and it worked pretty well also it does comes with configurability since in the control panel I got the Nvidia configuration panel icon.

They weren't like the usual ones that come in the Windows CD which doesn't have any configuration panel and are pretty basic, this ones does have the opengl and all hence the Aero worked fully for me on Windows 7

Another good proof that the drivers for Windows 7 are different is that if you go to the Nvidia website searching for drivers for Windows 7 on the link for it you get a message that they're available through Windows Update except for a few models

Though for models like mine that is the GeForce FX 5500 I can use the Windows Vista Drivers available on the Nvidia Website that have OpenGL support and all For Windows 7 ^^

I noticed that Speels stated that No$GBA is compatible in Wine and it is! But No$Zoomer, a great application which I long to run in Linux is not! It errors out with Heap and Unhandled page fault error upon startup. If anyone has any ideas how to get this great addon working with WINE I would love to know! Cheers!

I just want to say how much I appreciate no$zoomer and all the applications. (Like Squall's extra English option) I have a DS but the reason I play on emulator most of the time is because I like to take snap shots in games. But previously before no$zoomer it felt inconvenient to play with the small size of no$gba so I always changed the computer resolution. But that would make it hard for me to work with image capturing programs.
Not to mention how much smoother no$zoomer is in general. I love it.

I like NO$Zoomer, because it has a filter called "hd2x" (or something like that). With this filter, you can get HD. Bye.

Lol no, you can't get HD for a simple handheld (at least not with any current handhelds). What it does try to do though is smooth the extreme blockiness of all the blocks out when you increase the screen size. In fact the filter is only mean for a screen double the size of the original hence the "2" in the name. MyZoom and NDS2xGL2 and some other zooming apps also have it but it comes at a greater performance cost with them.
Personally I don't like it because a lot of detail is lost in my opinion, but to each their own to me it just feels as if some guy is going along and smudging everything onscreen.

HQ#x, are high quality scale and filter algorithms. they seek to maintain as much quality as possible from the original texture.
