I play NSMB with this tool for 2 hours and nothing wrong happens. Also turning on and off sound in NO$GBA doesn't change anything...

It is known to cause crashes if done too often mid-gameplay.

the ngzoom link in the original post doesnt really help, since it was edited by a mod. but i managed to find it on my own Translated version of http://www.namipan.com/d/NGZoom.rar/2da4eb461dc16ce2cb6d7c89bbc6f3dfcb7debcb548e1000 (this is a download link only)

i tried looking at the site before i posted the links. i didnt see anything suspicious or that would violate the forum rules here. granted i didnt look too long so i'll leave it up to the mod's discretion. with that being said, i'm going to post a link to the post by the creator. i think the site is in chinese, but this is how it looks like w/ english translation (still cant really understand much of it though) *snip*

i also found something called "NO $ Zoomer2.0.0.3"
NO$Zoomer2.0.0.3.rar (click green button to download)

*snip*

No$Zoomer2.0.0.3:

That program is made in Japan, being spread around in Mainland China, possibly Hong Kong.

It works like myZoom, except it zooms sideways.

I am afraid I have to remove the forum links again. That site also hosts material which is against forum rules.

I thank you for taking the effort to check though.

If you get the error: "The application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem." Whenever you try to run A.exe, download this:

Download details: Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)

Edit: A huge thanks to whomever made it! It fixes audio in other games like Mario Kart as well!

why is HMemory.dll absent from No$PMP and No$WTT? none of the "tools" that come in the Tools.7z work without it.

How exactly do you use the 'a' tool and No$WTT? I'm able to get them up and running, but I have no idea on how to actually get any use out of them.

You run "a" when you load a game... the same for NO$WTT

There's newer versions of NO$PMP and NO$WTT on the Japanese wiki that the "a" download link goes to. Both are 0.36. Both say they'll work on no$gba 2.6 now. NO$WTT says something changed with the stop and run stuff. NO$PMP says it has some changes for Avalon Code, a Higurashi game, Elminage, and "shiren" 1 and 2 (Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer, I guess?).

The first post says NO$PMP, NO$WTT, and NGZoom were made by XANADU. I know the readme files for NO$PMP and NO$WTT are in Japanese (with changelogs and all) but in the 2ch thread linked on the mentioned wiki, someone says NGZoom was made in China. I see a lot of Chinese sites when Googling for NGZoom, but I can't read them. Are these all really made by the same guy, since it seems like PMP and WTT are by a Japanese person? The guy on 2ch might just be mistaken, I guess.

Edit: Trudging throgh some Chinese forums with software translators seems to show that someone named Xanadu posted NGZoom, but his posts say the author is someone named "systemcrash."

The newest version of No$Pmp is 0.37a.
There's a new version of No$Zoomer, 2.3.0.
It seems link it has the same fixes for twewy, and the text bug on other games as NGZoom, but it runs with Vista 64 bit.

You should toss up some links to the latest. Like I said the mediafire account PMP was hosted on no longer has it listed. Could just be a mediafire problem but I think the file was taken down or moved.

Maybe I will go dig around on google for a minute.
