That's my guess anyways and pretty much the only thing you can try there is a cooling pad for your laptop.
Thats the correct answer mate

Try deleting No$gba.ini.
@Schumi: You might want to include the No$Zoomer option to dump the battery file in Q8.b.

If I mention No$Zoomer it's gotta be all or nothing...and I pick nothing because I can't suggest using No$Zoomer to fix games because that requires 2.6a which as you know is unavailable...so at this point I choose not to mention it at all. If 2.6a becomes the free version then I will ammend everything to include No$Zoomer, but until that time it would be like telling someone there's a fix...but they can't use it unless they have something they can't (legally) get...which means in accordance with the rules of this forum they would be in the exact same boat as before.

Correct, no$gba still only uses 1 core.

Given that neither No$ nor any of its add-on apps had an update in some time; and that software does not spontaniously evole, how exactly did you think No$ would have sprouted multi-core support?

When we talk about cores - what will happen if you open the Task Manager and set NO$GBA to "Access on both cores"? (I have got only single core so I can't try it myself)

In short: Until Martin gets a better computer, there won't be dual core optimizations.
Pd: Good FAQ.

There really was no need for that additional comment a week later once the person who asked has already long since vanished Lex.

What games have you tried this with, with no luck?

Perhaps the arrow keys require a function key or something to be pressed? Anyways this problem is specific to your laptop and not a general no$gba problem as tons of people use it fine both with laptops and propper desktop computers so I am afraid you're on your own with this one...it's not that we don't want to help, it's that we can't.

I would tend to believe the author more than some random guys on a forum so your information is incorrect.
