Exclamation Problem: not very responsive on my tablet

Strangely on the only two DS emulators I've tried that work at all, DeSmuME and No$GBA, with my tablet's pen I have to triple click or draw tiny circles to get any response. The pen is perfectly responsive with any other application and playing with my regular mouse works fine. Any ideas what could be causing this/ how I could fix it (I can't program)?

Also is it normal for most roms to give some kind of "data load error, reinsert cartridge" message? Can this be bypassed?

I'll post a video of my using it at my leisure if I get it running.

Oh yea, and thanks!

For the "data load error, reinsert cartridge" problem, you can either search the forum or read the sticky thread.

I'm playing on a Gateway M275, and yeah, when I was first playing Ouendan on it, some of the clicks were sometimes unregistered. Here's my insight:

1) Assuming you are using WinXP Tablet edition, in the Control Panel -> Tablet and Pen Settings and goto the Pen Options tab. Click on the Settings... button and in the dialog box that appears, DISABLE the Enable press and hold for right-click checkbox. This should keep Windows from unnecessarily checking click lengths and the click would be more responsive.

2) If you are using a Wacom-based tabletPC, try fiddling with the Tip Feel properties (Control Panel -> Pen Tablet properties). It might help. Take note that Wacom-based tablets use the stylus to relay the position of the cursor, and thus is not as fast as touch sensitive based TabletPCs. Playing Ouendan on Insane is almost out of the question. Ah, so you're using the HP Tx series, which has Touchscreen. You can ignore advice #2, and try to fool around with any tablet settings you can find instead.

Hope I'm able to help a fellow TabletPC owner.
