Question Super Princess Peach trouble (bug?)

Hi guys, I'm hoping you can help me out with a problem.
I'm getting stuck on the first boss, it seems to kinda crash but kinda not.
After he swallows the Toad and yells the music stops as if it's crashed however the boss if still doing his walking on the spot animation, Peach is still twirling her umbrella and the hearts at the bottom are still moving.
However nothing else seems to work.. he doesn't attack and I can't move in any way, or use any of the emotion heart things.
Any help getting past this would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah that has been happening on all the versions as far I know, but to pass that problem I load the game and my savegame file (with previous backup of the savefile) on Desmume or Ideas and on those emus you can fight the boss without problems, then after beat the boss save and load the game and the savegame on NO$GBA to play the next world, yes is kinda annoying switch between emus but so far is my only workaround.

Do you mean save state or battery save ?
I tried both but no$gba saves seem to be incompatible with desmume and ideas. What are you doing to make them work ?

O that's easy. According to some topic I saw from someplace somewhere, the No Gba merely compresses the saves so they aint 512k. You can keep that from happening by editing the no$gba.ini file and replace "Compressed" in the sav/sna part with "Raw".
Then replay your game and save it again to have the raw save file to be used in Ideas. then IF you want to have smaller files again, just change back your ini file.

For no apparent reason, I provide you the slightly edited ini and also the original unedited one. Just overwrite the one you have in your folder.

Of course, it's easier to do it yourself, but eh, whatever.

Thank you, it works !
Ideas was able to import the savefile but no desmume. However after the savefile was saved by ideas, desmume also was able to use it.

i also had the same problem , i managed to use DeSume to make the save and then load it with No$GBA , but then it won't work , now i'll try what you have said "status" and thanks for sharing ...

on another topic i also have a problem with Yoshi's Island DS , the walls seem not to break when i throw eggs on them , but they work fine with DeSume ...

Yeah, that's for 3D games, for 2D games (like Digimon World) it's good.
