Help converting save file to VBA

Hey I've been lurking NGemu for a long time now, and I ran into a problem with Pokemon Emerald on No$GBA. I've tried using the No$GBA to VBA program but I can't seem to get it right. Can someone help me convert my save, and also explain to me how to get Pokemon Emerald to work on VBA??

Appreciate it

The thing is, I can get pokemon emerald to work with VBA with the vba-over.ini, but after converting my file from No$gba to VBA it doesnt work anymore.

Basically this is what I did:

NO$GBA pokemon emerald .sav

used the No$gba to VBA program, followed all steps. Uncompressed, resaved the game, etc.

I downloaded the lasted vba 1.8 beta, and followed the steps in getting the vba-over.ini to work.

I can start up emerald with vba, but as soon as I place the converted .sav in the same folder, VBA has the same original problem with Emerald. VBA is set to flash 128 and all that good stuff, so unless I'm not supposed to being doing that I have no idea.

Just a couple of things...

1) no$gba must also be properly configured (back up media) when you are going to resave. Otherwise, it will corrupt your save and it won't work.

2) When you're using vba-over.ini, VBA must be configured to Automatic Flash 64k.

3) Unless you're importing the save file, the save file must have the same of the ROM/zipped ROM file.

I guess I have the same problem but it still doesn't work....what parameters do I have to change so it is properly configured and how/what converted file do I use?

Download the no$gba to vba program here, and follow the instruction on that site.

You can try this method then:
1) Open up no$gba.ini file
2) Look for the line where it says "SAV/SNA File Format"
3) Change the "Compressed"/"Uncompressed" to "Raw"
4) Run the game in no$gba
5) Save your game normally and close the emu
6) Copy/move the save in the no$gba Battery folder to your vba folder

Edit: 7) If the save doesn't work, try importing the save in vba

I tried that method 2 times on pokemon emerald, and it worked. I haven't try any other gba games though.
