advance wars: dual strike in no$gba v2.6a

When I try to save a file name to the map that I just created in this game, the emulator runs to a crawl. It slows down to only 1-2% from an average of 100% whenever I'm in the type the filename area. Please help.

Nothing that can be done about it. At this stage the game just runs like that.
Play it on your DS.
