Birthday setting!

In Castlevani-Portrain Of Ruin you'll get an item when it's your birthday.
I need that item for the 100% run...

Where can I set my birthday??
Did I overssen it or isn't that possible?

Thanks in advance for answers....

Only in the firmware settings. So you need to dump your firmware from your DS.

You have to set it in the firmware. In the no$gba menu option select "Reset/Startup Entrypoint ==> GBA BIOS (Nintendo Logo)",
restar the emulation and you can change birthday date.

no, you can change the time on your computer desktop and it would change the no$gba time also.

SKJmin doesn't know how to set/change the date of his birthday in his firmware. MasterPhW was trying to tell him that he have to change/set the date of his birthday in his real ds, then dump the firmware to his computer.

The setting won't stay after you close and restart the emu.

Would be easier to just do it from the desktop.

No.

Listen the brithday setting has nothing to do with no$gba (everyone else has been giving you cryptic half messages)

It's in the firmware on your DS and should be changed there. After that you can dump it back to your PC again and place it back in the no$gba folder.

Obtaining a firmware file by another other means than dumping it from your own DS is illegal by the way an not supported on this forum.

That's irrelevant as it will not allow him to accomplish what he wants.

Well I did not think of that paticular scenario....I mean if you knew the date fine...but if not were you really going to try 365 dates?
No one suggested that you open up the firmware in no$gba and take a look...so it seemed unlikely that you would try 365 dates

hey whatever works, if he want to be a completest then insanity sets in, i know how that feels in castlevania games, but i would take the easy way out, i would've changed the firmware date. oh well, to each its own.

Next time answer a bit chilled man....

That was not an admin like response...it was a propper english response....

Also it WOULD have been irrelevant. Let' say your actual birthday is on 21st of October, and the one of the firmware is set for the 4th of June (which I assumed you did not know). Well then setting your PC to 21st of October would have done absolutely nothing...and the suggestion been irrelevant.

You originally wanted to set your birthday (which is what the topic asked)...in other words you wanted to tell no$gba that your borthday (in this hypothetical example) is on the 21st of October. The only place this is possible is in the firmware. Which as I said is seperate from no$gba, no$gba only uses it. So the only way you could have done this, is changed the date on your DS and then redumped your firmware. Changing the date of your PC would have had no effect on the setting already in your firmware so I said it was irrelevant...and it was.
What you apparently wanted to do however (or at least what would accomplish the same ends) was get the game to recognise the date already in the firmware....but you never said, I know there is a language barrier, but it's not my fault I missunderstood you or that you were not able to get your question accross correctly.

Es ist nicht meine Schuld das ich dich falsch verstanden habe, oder das du deine Frage nicht ganz richtig stellen konntest.
