Saving in Mystery dungeon explorers of darkness

So I just downloaded Mystery dungeon explorers of darkness, its runs perfect etc. But the problem is that when i save it says Save Failed.....
How can i fix this?

Piracy is not supported here. Read the rules.

If the emulator crashes, then it doesn't save. Select "Auto" in the emulator options if using 2.6
