Saving on 1,024 mb

Greetings,

It is of my understanding that saving games is directly influenced by the MBits on the game, for example, Pokemon Diamond should work with FLASH512KBits because it's a 512Mbit game. Now, I could be wrong, but it's the way it has worked for me.
Anyway - There's this game (Final Fantasy XII Revenant..~) which is 1,024 mbits, and after attempting all save possibilities (from EEPROM to FLASH and whatnot) I can't save the game. Same happens with some other games~

Any ideas?

It's meant to be the bit savetype divided by 8 to give the byte savetype no$gba uses. You are looking at the catridge size, you should be looking at the savetype.

Go to AdvanceScene check the savetype (not cartridge size) and the divide that by 8 to ge the savetype for no$gba.

"that saving games is directly influenced by the MBits on the game"

Not really. Pokemon Diamond/pearl need a big savegame for some obvious reasons but a small game can have a big savegame.

it's depend on what kind of chip adn size that is use on tthe original cartridge

FFXII use EEPROM chip with 512Kbit (64 KBytes) capacity
so use that setting

Thanks for all of your replies - I really appreciate it!
And the dividing by 8 helps in some of the games, yeah, so thanks for the hint.

EEPROM 64 kbits worked wonders, but I still have problems to know what to use. Right now for example, im trying Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice for all, and im on the fifth run now and i still cant save it >_> Annoying. I can do the first trial by memory by now ._.

PW Ace attorney use FLASH 256Kbytes, while the other PW (and AA) use EEPROM 64Kbytes
