It's.... too fast!!!

I know a lot of people here have speed problems with games, but even those with powerful units have problems, namely: some games such as Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and Tenchu run way too fast for most humans too comprehend. Any way to slow down the emulator?

Change video and sound configuration (press F11) so the emulator needs more processing power, therefore slowing down the game speed...

F11 -> Emulation speed. Ultimate Mhz Disaster 100% or even realtime,Auto is preferable for adequate speeds, so change it if it is ultimate 10%.

Realtime, Auto is my usual setting for this emulator from Pokemon, to the Gyakuten Saiban series. I tried the Ultimate Mhz Disaster 100% and those fast games still runs way too fast, particularly, tenchu. I think it went even faster. I did say only SOME games run too fast. Others games work fine at realtime, Auto.

i never tried this game on the emu personally, but in 2.6a i use "realtime, auto" (for pokemon mainly). my computer is pretty old, over 5 years, and it runs great. i cant say for sure but i imagine one of the "auto" settings is your best bet since it will attempt to limit the fps.

Auto won't make the game fast.10% Ultimate Disaster did.Or maybe you're slow.Anyway,what's your spec.

@Mynemisbat-Zul
The thread creater wants to slow down the speed of the emu, not speed it up (if you have read his first post that is.)

Anyways, just use Unlimited MHz Disaster 100% and run a whole bunch of programs.

Won't help much if those programs don't use the CPU. They are just going to take up memory. Try running CPUburn and the emulator in parallel and fiddling with the process priorities of each.

but sometimes, especially at bigger places, it seems like everythign goes to default speed.

I had this problem when playing SmackDown vs Raw 2008.But all seems fine (the emu slow down) when I change the option to 50 or 100% Ultimate Disaster.I don't know why all this people complain the emu is too fast even had change those setting.
