Is the old good paint iam a pro in it Lol yes it seems that paint work better in transparencies so what i would say is try to do the transparencies there and one more thing you seem to add a dark lines around the edges right don't do that it make transparencies look wrong as you can see i took them out so my transparencies would look normal and yes it seems that photoshop is a pain with transparencies one more thing if you try to work transparencies with paint do them by pieces that way you will have i good aspect on the skin you want ok. maybe you are a bit confuse me using paint even know there programs like photoshop out there. Lol (^_^)v
i will try to use cs3 to see if i can use it ok... Last edited by jvhellraiser; April 10th, 2008 at 22:37. |

![]() *especialy for those whose not able to use PS to the fullest ![]() in PS this kind of transparancy (well actually not transparancy at all, since it's not using alpha channel but instead remove a precise color during rendering) didn't work well, since ps at normal state applied anti aliasing to smooth edge, thus, you'll get smothed egde using transparancy (alpha channel) this cost you alot, since if you flatten the layers, you won't get pure magenta arround the corner due to the mixing of magenta and some other color with transparancy on other layer. if you have difficulties with PS for applying magenta layer, switch to paint on your final stage of your skin making, and add magenta color (for transparancy) on paint ![]() *FYI, all my skinn up front use CS3 extended, so yeah, CS3 still (and definately always) kicks ms paint |

Tyo welcome back ^_^v it will not,cs3 will never take the place of paint never.
and hahaha yes i don't know how to use Cs3 very well in fact i hate it in some way you see i don't like to be looking around all over the damn photoshop for a color. but thats ok if you like it thats good for you i'll stay with paint. one thing i notice when i use photoshop and i zoom and took a good look at the picture some was magenta but you see the line in the reaper picture above? is not magenta is purple. midtest finally over ^_^that purple came from magenta blend with other color with low transparancy (from the original pic i assume) when crimson 'shape' his image ![]() if you want to erase or make a line in PS, you can use brush or eraser in pencil mode instead, so it won't be anti-aliased

it must be pure magenta for NOZ to recognise and apply transparancy (by design noz take color value which is pure magenta #ff00ff and replace this color with alpha by the time it render the skin - i assume)
here's pure magenta color setting ![]() also be sure to save the file as BMP 24 bit, do not use save file as web (and then choose bmp), but choose 'save as' and then choose BMP ![]() so the file won't be optimized for web, which, PS will try to optimize the image and loose some color info, your magenta won't be #ff00ff again ![]() here's a tip, use photoshop's layer feature (that's a lack of feature in paint), create a layer just for your magenta, and work with other layer for main image/skin. it's easier than paint in it's 1 layer only canvas
