No data

I downloaded a ROM of Pokemon Diamond.

Disclaimer: Do not call me a pirate, I own the game and a DS. I bought them both legally at Gamestop. So legally I'm allowed to make backups of my software for archival purposes.

Whenever I try to load it in the latest version of the emulator, I get this screen. (attached)

Why?

Exactly. Make, not download. By downloading, you support those pirates out there somehow.

Ok, I took your advice and made a copy of my own cartridge.

I still have the same problem, how do I fix it?

Was that so hard?

if you have v2.6, you have to set it to Flash 512kb

Error: Could not erase data.Turn the power off and reinsert the game card

Thank you, and I searched, must have overlooked it.

It runs a little choppy, any suggestions on settings that might increase performance?

Beyond changing the renderer or changing the emulation speed settings in no$gba's emu options there is no way to increase performance.
