Angry Doesn't really save?!

So I was just playing Final Fantasy III. I fought some battles, saved, fought some more, saved again, etc. All of a sudden I got an error message saying the rom image has crashed! I restarted No$GBA but it seems as though it only takes me back to the beginning of my last gaming session. Even though I've been saving constantly it looks like the emulator hasn't! Anybody know why this is happening? Would quitting and restarting the emulator every time I want to save be mandatory if I don't want to lose game progress like I just did?

Yes, the emulator only dumps the save file when you either close it or load another ROM (resetting won't work).

That's too bad. Hope they can improve that in the future.

It happens to me. I have to open up the BATTERY folder, delete the previous save file, then close the emulator in order for a save to take. So far that's the only way I have found to efficiently save.

You don't need to delete the previous save. The emulator will update the file when, as I said, you close the emulator or load another ROM (or the same ROM, as long as you load it, not reset).
