Question Zip Support

Does this emulator include zip support really??? Because on the open dialog box it shows them, but when i try to open them it says cartridge not found. Well just i needed some more info about this. I tried to search the forum but there were no results. Thanks

No$gba's support is archaic, and basically doesn't really work with modern systems. So no, it doesn't really support zip.

If you only want Zip and use NTFS, you can just use File Compression. It is based on LZ77 algorithm - which is also used in Zip.

It only works with zip files if you have an unzipped rom of the same name in the same directory (which indicates that it's not actually using the zipped version at all).

...I seriously doubt that happening >_>

Martin has always opposed bloat. And adding support for this would just add bloat.

Unless you magically find a ASM library for 7-Zip....

doesn't need to be internally supported, it can be passed on to an external file to unpack.
