You have to close the emu first if you want to start another rom, because the emu will only write the save if you close it first.

Uhhh...OK here goes.
The ROM(Read Only Memory) is the digital image of a gamecart (in this case because NDS uses carts to store games on) which is basically the game itself.
Every time you open your Diamond game, you open the ROM. Easy so far.
Now the game uses a save type to save your progress (if you have no$gba2.6a then it does not matter).
The tricky part is, the emulator only writes your savefile when you close the emu (click on the 'X' in the upper right corner of the window). Only then will you be able to load back the savefile successfully.

SO: play the game...save your progress...then close the emu...after that you can start a different game, a differnt ROM...I hope it's easy to understand.

well i think that i didn't explain me good sorry about the confusion but i don't want to start a new game i put you an example i start my game and i play since my pokemon was at lvl 8 and then i did my first save, after i continue playing since my pokemon is at lvl 14 and then i saved again and closed the emu(because i don't want to play more) but when i open the emu to play again the file i only can load is the one with the pokemon at lvl 8, only the first save i did in my game. and the thing that i want is to overwrite the first save with my second and my second with my third or to find a way to can load the saves i do after the first one. sorry again for the confusion or maybe i don't understand you good but thanks a lot for all your time i'm wasting. thanks again.

PD: i have the 2.6b version is that a matter maybe?
