Unhappy Diamond loading problem anyone?

I know 2.6 is still progressing and what is missing is the game saving. I have a problem loading a file. I'll tell you what I did:

1. get a saved file on GameFAQs
2. go to the save converter (shunyweb.info)
3. browsed saved file, convert from Action Replay to no$GBA
4. saved it in Battery folder.
5. here I am.

It's not that I want to start all the way in the end, but I want to restart the game and play it as myself. So, is it the saves or is it the actual ROM's problems? I mean I played the converted file and it normally starts a new game....

The save must have the save name as your game's file name.

Did you set the right save type and selected "Save Options?"

Uhm, I don't think I could get to that part yet until I know the save file worked or not. I mean I just load it and it starts with the entire introduction of the Pokemon world. Or is it supposed to work that way? Anyways, if it loads correctly, then I'll do the set up and stuff.

It's not suppose to go to the introduction if the save loads correctly. I just checked those save myself, and I can't get them to work. So I guess those save can't be used in no$gba even if you convert them.

Yeah the save files don't work in no$gba 2.6 and 2.6a.
You just have to start the game from the beginning.

I see. But then I can still use those files to save as my own right? I mean like, I get somewhere in the story and then save my progress into those files. Shall it still work?

well when you save a game it will automatically create a save file, so just continue playing as you normally would

ive found changing the 3d render from no$ can cause problems and not having sound enabled also causes freezing and bad loading problems in some places :P try changing it all back to default and using flash512k save type has worked wonders for me since early versions allways worked with no problems

To AJC46: Lucky enough for you to have one that can create saves in the Battery folder or wherever. I thought I remembered before I tried it on a different game and it worked, but this is different. I save it under FLASH 512 and nothing appeared!

To Shadow: I've never changed anything but the setup for the save type. Total failure resumes.... >_>

You know....I'm not even sure how to tell the difference between a patched and un-patched. I just get mine as it is (not directing to the importance of piracy!).
