I have the firmware bios from no$gba in the folder of neonDS but it dosent recognize it, the size is 4 and 16 kb for bios9.bin and bios7.bin respectively.
Am I missing something and when i start a game nothing happens, no FPS nothing plus the emulator crashes when i choose in the bios unknown part before i choose a rom.

I used my absolute identical bios files I had for no$gba....why would you need different bioses?

Orz, does NeonDS have an ARM recompiler? Since you're emphasizing speed a lot.

Bah..I tried to test DBZ SSW2 for instance...but no go...I can't press start because for some reason none of the controls work...not matter if I use default or try and change them (which resets as I soon as I load a new game or exit)....I am probably doing some really dumb again...

I realized today there is a stupid bug in 0.0.4 that the customized keyboard or joystick settings can not be correctly saved.
Now it is fixed and the file is updated on webiste.

so orz what could be the reason that the bios are not detected and when i click refresh the emulator crashes? i saw the size on yer website to be 16 and 32 kb while mine are 4 and 16 kb is that why they are not being detected?
I got Izuna to work as did sigmax but the bios are unknown? why is that so

If you got games working then most probably your bios files are ok. I use MD5 checksum on the bios files I have to validate the runtime files, but you know MD5 is very sensitive with file content differences, such as extra 0 at the end of the file. So if your games run properly, you can ignore the "bios unknown" message.

orz,

Strange is, I got Izuna - Legend of the Unemployed Ninja (U) to work ok.

I found a bug -- maybe!

Nice intro for Megaman ZX. Look at the screenshot here:

EEPROM 64:

But... When I press Start and that's what I am getting:

Same problem for Yoshi's Island (U) -- See below.

When I press start... LOOK:

I'm pretty sure that your problem is caused by missing bios files or incorrect bios files.

Oh, yeah, I just saw your words below the pictures. You've figured it out by yourself

hmm. sorry, that's another post. Anyway, sigmax you are right.

I did rename them to biosnd7.rom in 16kb and biosnd9.rom in 4kb. I rename them to .bin either way. I got the same result.
