well.... as you may know, I have the wimpest PC of the forums..... so, mI need to ask you something...

I got PSEmu pro, so then.... can I copy my plugins directory into PSEmu's so I can play with those in a "lower resource" emu?

Yes. Just make sure they're in the correct directory, and they'll work fine. As you pointed out, maybe not.

*sigh* just checked this up...

psemu doesn't work with newer plugins, seems that it causes an error with the screenshot, ISO, and savestate support (I really don't know, but when I deleted the plugins with these features, it started to work fine....

Thanks for the info, I don't have a getho PC but I wanted to try psemupro just for the hell of it but it didn't work with the newer plugins...now I know why. Looks like I have to search for older plugins made before march 2001.

PSEmu Pro will work with the new gpu plugins as well (of course there will
be no save states), but it will have troubles with the newer spu plugins,
since most of them are using a newer interface, not the old psemu pro
one.

hehe.... thanks!!!

but..... everytime I run PSemu, windows shows a message of error that goes like:

"psemu.exe has made an error in psemu, it will be closed"

or something like that....

well, speed is one thing, but you have to be aware that PSEmu Pro
has a much lower compatibility rate than nowadays psx emus... so,
certain games will work very fast and fine with PSEmu Pro (I think
no other emu runs Tekken3 as fast), but you will get much more crashes,
glitches, black screens and no mdecs.
So, maybe you are not seeing a plugin issue at all, but simply PSEmu doesn't
support the game you want to play.
