FF9 on my PC

Please help me! i'm trying to get ff9 work on VGS and ePSXe!!! how do i have to configurate ePSXe to get FF9 run?? and the patches doesnt work...maybe because i have the cracked vgs??
but please tell me how to configurate epsxe!!!!!!!!!!

You probably shouldn't mention you have the cracked vgs it'll get your threads locked or worse.
