Question Documentation request

Hola mis amigos!
Just dropping by again to see if anyone can help me with something. Maybe one of the emu authors will be able to help.

Basically, I've been trying to develop a static recompiler engine for the r3000a, and I'm hitting the usual bumps of indirect addressing and self modifying code. I've worked out some ideas on how to solve this in my head, but unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to access my computer to try them out for a couple more weeks. So, my question is this: does anyone around here have any idea where I can get docs that go into any sort of detail about static recs(besides mentioning that it recompiles code into native format--which it seems all the stuff I can find on it only says that).

Once I get this all down some more, I'm going to release my own docs on it to public domain as part of this project I'm doing, but thats a little in the future at least :P Anyhoo, any (hopefully detailed) information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
J.S.

P.S. I have had some hints at emulators that use this form of emulation, but still nothing has come of that either. First, I read on a webpage in my searches(goldco.co.uk or something) that there is an emulator for the atari 2600 that works off of the gameboy advance that uses a static rec, but I have been unable to locate this one. Second, I heard that Adripsx uses a static rec in some parts, but the author has apparently been very busy at school, as the plan to release the source has not gone through yet. Well, if anyone else knows of a sourced static rec engine that I could take a look at, then that would also be helpful Thanks!

Addon

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that I found that Corn (the N64 emulator) also used a static recompiler system, but unfortunately, the system is no longer continued, nor is it open source(as far as I know anyway). Well, back to the searching for me.... :P
