My ps2 controller won't rumble...

Running ssspsx with it's internal contoller plugin, I have a radio shack USB to PSX converter and hooked up my dualshock controller. I've installed the drivers for it, which took me a while to find...

The plugin reads it as a dualshock, but I get no rumble.

I've tried with Harikiri's plugin and it won't even recognize my controller irreguardless of whether I tell it it's a PSX one or a analog/dualshock w. force feedback (which it does recognize).

Can anyone help me getting this to work?
