Super street fighter 2/turbo help

Ive have recently discovered PEC cheater for epsx and i followed the guide for getting infinite health on the game "jackie chan adventures" which worked so i thought id have a go at getting infinite health on super street fighter 2 (street fighter collection) The energy bar went up but even with a "freeze" it just didnt work. I couldnt find infinite energy even with my action replay pro cartridge on my origonal playstation. Even the official action replay/gameshark codes have no effect!, this game is laughing at me as i just cant hack it. Has anyone ever found a way to get these codes to work or have propper ones? thanks
